Canik TP9 SF Elite Part 2
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.10 месяцев назад
This is the post range review of the Canik TP9SF Elite. This is a great low budget, high quality pistol. It’s designed after the Walter P99, however it is not a double action pistol like the Walter. All around great quality pistol, can be used for carry or competition. Canik TP9 SF Elite

I have said goodbye to all my Glocks and upgraded to the Canik TP9 SF Elite. In my opinion Glocks are outdated striker fired pistols in the modern world, and instead of creating new products and listening to the needs and requests of todays shooter they simply keep producing the same 1980s-1990s pistol. Yet they say they are perfection…. I’m done with Glocks, and have found a new go-two Striker...

Great information and video. Although I have several other guns, but am picking up my first 1911 in a few days, and have been trying to learn as much about the platform as I can. This was really helpful! Thank You.

This was my first gun back in the day and a perfect choice for a new shooter. You're 100% about "light and long double-action pull". It forces you to learn trigger control for development. Staging the trigger for accurate shots was a neat feature. The people that hate on this gun just don't "get" it. It's a real gem.

I discovered Milt Sparks Summer Special holster years ago and haven't looked back. Its not for appendix carry but works well every place else. Galco makes one that's similar in horse hide. Its not cheap but will last forever. Thank you sir for another excellent video.

They never scared me, but I had trained so much with Glocks, the first time I tried to train with a 1911 in a course, I kept forgetting the safety. I never was able to remember to drop it. It would have taken a lot of training to bring in that muscle memory. So I gave up and kept with what I knew.

All the "cool kids" have AR's with a manual thumb safety. They cry until any new rifle design moves it's manual safety to the AR's position. The M9 was just fine with a thumb safety. Literally every automatic pistol since they were invented had thumb safeties until Glock marketing struck. It's a nonsensical position.

TPSF Elite is the best pistol out of the box I ever shot and that includes the Sig 220 series, CZ 75 series and S&W. No break in period, handles every grain, brand...I've tried to see if it would fte, ff shooting terrible mismatched ammo without any problems. Unbelievable accuracy with a great trigger of 4.5 pounds...by my chair always for home defense but I do carry it concealed also. Did put night sights on it. Great pistol at any price much less $400.00.

Seeing this four-year-old video six weeks after buying a snubbie, because I wanted something for EDC in warmer weather than my CZ 75-variant, and a Sig P365 feels tiny in my hands. I had rented a Smith & Wesson Airweight in .38 Special at my local range, and found the felt recoil a bit spicier than enjoyable. Could I get used to it? Probably. I'm not a tiny guy, I have decent hand strength and fairly large hands. A video from another guntuber got me thinking about .32 H&R Magnum, and that Charter Arms Undercoverette caught my eye. Since I like DA/SA trigger action in my semi-auto pistols, the DA trigger was an easy adaptation for me. Can I get your level of accuracy at 25 yards? Not yet, but I'm getting there. The .32 S&W Long ammo is more spendy than 9mm, but cheaper than 9mm was in the fall of 2020. The .32 Magnum SD rounds I'm currently carrying are a bit over a sheckel per, but a lot of the hollow point 9mm stuff worth carrying is close to that. My sense is that, having lived over sixty years without having been in a situation where I needed a pistol to get out of the situation, my odds are pretty good for not needing it going forward. But one never knows, do one?

Thanks for your post in favor of snubby revolvers. I'm carrying a Taurus 856 revolver that holds 6 rounds in the cylinder. It's interesting to note that after President John F. Kennedy was killed in Dallas on Friday, November 22, 1963, the alleged shooter Lee Harvey Oswald was shot and killed by Jack Ruby the following Sunday afternoon. Ruby used a Colt Cobra snub nose 38 Special revolver.

With Kydex as soon as it pops out of its seat it can just fall out given the chance, especially if your in a tussle with the bad guy. With leather, even it pops loose from fully holstered aka comes unseated the leather has enough friction/ retention to help it to keep from just flying out. I am a big fan of Custom leather holsters, it sets off the pistol with the custom die job, tooling or exotic skins on it. After you spend a mint on a good 1911 it is worth it to get a good holster to protect that investment and to set it off when your at your barbecue...etc. Even though I keep mine concealed with a cover garment it will still be seen when you move the right way or the wind blows your cover up, folks will still see if and ask me about it. I have my everyday leather and my barbecue / church going leather.

I'm also sold by this 250. I like it and I think I'm going to buy one now. Also just thinking that you have had military training and you have more than likely seen action, you are trained to stay calm during conflict and focus on things like trigger control and so on. The average civilian is not trained to do this so it may be a challenge for them to focus in situations like that. On the other hand I think its also a good thing because you have to think before you so easily pull the trigger. Either way I'm completely sold on this P250. Nice review thanks.

On July 5th 2024, I am officially an owner of a RIA 1911 G1 (it was like $450, I couldn’t pass up on such a good price based on my financial standing) and I’m so glad that I have been doing some research before I take my baby to the range. I knew that the cock and locked feature is a safety mechanism but never knew that you rest your thumb on the switch while drawing to firing mode. It has been my dream of owning a 1911 ever since I was little and now as a quarter of a century years old, it’s finally a reality. A very superb video and tutorial for folks starting off, Danke Scheön Herr.

That first reason was so valid, you really shouldn’t own a gun if that scares you. You have two safety’s for a reason, and should have full knowledge of all its operations (like any other gun) beforehand anyway. So you should be completely safe if you operate it correctly, and they are some damn beautiful guns, and shoot amazing in a 9mm. And i know it belongs in a 45 but I’m a little guy at 140 lbs give me a break😂.

I just got a tisas 1911 US A1 GI MODEL Wilson combat 47d mags with federal HST is hard to beat! in 45 I only trust HST OR GOLD DOT to expand reliably! I love 45 but it’s my problem child due to companies under loading! Best thing with a 45 is a FMJ will do a lot of damage but when you pay 40-50$ for a box of 50 of premium ammo you want them to work as designed! HST is a fantastic round! The federal punch works very well in 45 as well! my top rounds in any caliber are HST, GOLD DOTS, UNDERWOOD, FEDERAL PUNCH, HORNADY XTP
